You will join a leading Hospital and provider of behavioral health services. The position will be a well balanced (60/40) mix of outpatient and inpatient Psychiatry. Light call schedule of not less than 1:4 with a full complement of support staff. Annual salary of $180,000 in addition to a comprehensive benefit package.

Section Director of Gastroenterology : Work in the Nation's Capital
This position requires someone with the skill to communicate with other faculty and staff. You will be managing 70 faculty and staff on a day to day basis. The primary function of this position is to maintain the Fellowship program. This department is very busy with another 30-40 Gastroenterologists with offices in the area and privileges at the hospital. The director will also be responsible for keeping up a clinical practice, overseeing policy and procedures, developing faculty and staff, and being a liaison between hospital and the department.

We need a General Psychiatrist to provide coverage starting 08-24-2009 and ongoing through November 30, 2009, with possible dates in December. The facility is located in Washington, DC. The city is located on the north bank of the Potomac River and is bordered by the states of Virginia to the southwest and Maryland to the other sides.
The schedule would be for two days or 16 hours per week.
The schedule if Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. The client will be flexible with days and hours as long as it matched their schedule.
There is no call
The facility is a student health center at the university.
100 % Adult patients 18 and up.
The students would need medication management (patients are stable and have already been seen by a psychiatrist and stabilized on meds.)
The psychiatrist will spend about 1 hour each week in team meetings with Psychologists at their Academic Support Center (also on campus nearby the health center).
Locum Tenens Psychiatrist will see an average of 9 patients per day (assuming an 8 hour working day with approximately 4.5 hours of direct patient care)
