Excellent opportunity for BC Gastroenterologist to join an established GI practice with a one –in-four call schedule. This hospital is a Solucient Top 100 Hospital with a stat of the art GI Lab. There are four endoscopy suites and one bronch lab with preliminary drawings to expand the unit to provide two additional procedure suites. The Endoscopy Unit is designed as an ASC and all patients are managed within the unit with occasional procedures in the OR, primarily pediatric patients. The doctors currently take their own call during the week and rotate weekends. Now with three doctors we are rotating every third weekend...with a fourth then would be every fourth weekend. This hospital has 516-beds at two campuses and is a Level II Trauma Center – one of only four in the state and 107 in the country. There are 210 members on the medical staff representing 40 specialties. The hospital is recognized for its exceptional work in quality care, and has the distinction of being among the nation’s best hospitals for the past three years running (Health Grades). The hospital is a very large hospital in Montana and is the largest non-governmental employer in the area. This hospital provides healthcare to approximately 225,000 people in a service area covering 44,814 square miles - - 15 counties in Northcentral Montana. The ED treats critical trauma victims injured in the community and across Montana (200 mile radius of this area in Montana). Their flight services provide aeromedical transport via both helicopter and airplane. A state of the art CICU and CCU is under construction and will be completed in 2009.
