This clinic has 8 exam rooms and 2 large treatment rooms with plans for expansion with additional providers. The clinic is staffed with 11 full or part-time employees including one nurse for each provider. Clinic Operations also includes management of the Women’s Health Center and another clinic which combined employs 5 additional support staff. There are currently 2 employed Family Practice Physicians, one Physician Assistant and one Nurse Practitioner in the clinic. An additional private practitioner provides family medicine services in the community. This hospital has one outreach clinic about 45 minutes away that is staffed with a full time Physician Assistant. Physicians typically work full time, 4 days per week in the clinic seeing patients with one day off during the week. Currently neither the clinic nor hospital has an EMR, but one of the hospital’s goals/objectives is to purchase an EMR, first for the clinic and then for the hospital. Physicians receive a salary with production bonus based on an RVU system with a proven track record, relocation allowance, sign-on bonus, generous Paid Time Off and Long Term Sick Leave package, and health care benefits for themselves and their family.
