Illinois - Family Medicine for Group in Chicago, IL area!

Family Medicine physician needed for medical group in Chicago, IL area. This established group has 16 full-time physicians and specializes in house calls for patients who are homebound or who are unable to visit their doctor’s office. Group has been in business for 12 years and current need is due to growth. There is very little call (currently 1:15) which is also growing. Each physician sees about 15 patients/day and has about 300 patients overall. There is a first year guarantee (135K); then option for production plan. Physicians who are up and running make between 140-150K per year and have 3-4 weeks vacation per year. Group also pays for car, car insurance and relocation. House calls are typically made Monday – Friday during normal business hours with some exceptions.

Locum Tenens - Emergency Room Physicians needed in Illinois

Responsible for the care of all patients presenting to the emergency department during his/her tour of duty (shift). Should the need arise the emergency department physician is responsible for providing care to inpatients during non-administrative hours as well as the community living center adjacent to the medical center. The medical center provides additional coverage if indicated with a dedicated “first call assigned physician.” ED physician shall make telephone arrangements when a patient needs to be transferred to another hospital. Physician shall document all medical care electronically in the facilities computer system. This includes all consults, progress notes, and orders (including patient discharge medication scripts). If prescribing a controlled substance, the ED physician will hand write a script. Ages of patients served may vary greatly and include young (20s and 30s years of age); middle-aged (40s and 50s years of age); and older patients (60 and upwards).
