On behalf of my client, we extend an invitation to qualified professionals to interview for three psychiatrist positions in Battle Creek, Michigan.
We’re seeing to add two adult psychiatrists and one child psychiatrist to their team, with options to work in outpatient facilities and/or with the psychiatric hospital.
My client is flexible and willing to establish a package to fit the physician’s preference, including the option to be a full employee or a contract employee + working in Inpatient and/or Outpatient.
My client is an extremely well-reputed and well-established, mental health care provider for adults, seniors and youth in Southwest Michigan. Services provided include access and care management, assessment and testing, group therapy, crisis management and emergency services, medication management, senior diagnostics, inpatient and partial hospitalization, outpatient therapy, physician services, housing services, and employment assistance.
Daily volume of customers seen is between 10 and 16 patients.

A hospital in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has recently lost one of their physicians and they have a job opportunity for a locums Hospitalist to provide a minimum of two weeks per month on an ongoing basis until a permanent replacement is found. This physician will work primarily M-F, 7AM to 5PM, sometimes until 7PM with the possibility of some occasional call. There are seven physicians in the group and the locums physician will only see unassigned patients, approximately 8-10 per day, with 1-4 admissions per day as well. This is a 49-bed hospital that also has a 9-bed ICU. ER physicians respond to most codes and the hospitalist will admit patients from the ER. This is a great opportunity for consistent work in a beautiful part of northern Michigan, with the potential for permanent position as well.

Directly reporting to the CMO is an RN who is responsible for quality improvement and clinical support staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in a community health center/FQHC.

Shifts are 8-5 and 2-10. After 10, NightHawk with someone weekly covering NightHawk downtime. Interventional Radiologist is on call each week for Angio and other emergent procedures. Whichever Rad works the weekend takes the call after hours. Candidate meeds to read multiple modalities. Equipment includes Phillips Cardiac package for fixed MR unit, two CT scanners, mobile unit, Phillips Allura Xper FD 1010 Biplane. URGENT NEED.
