Critical access hosp that does all the billing anyway. C sections only when the patient's doc makes the call. 24/7 coverage w/CRNA's. New surgeon will have a light load - only about 30 cases/month, and will have light call. National park and ski resorts close by. Good schools - they have honor programs in their schools. If you are a Family Practice Physician with Emergency Medicine experience, this is for you. This Hospital is in search of an EM Physician to add to it’s current staff. There are approximately 8 patients seen daily in this ED and approximately 3,000 yearly. FP doctors do clinic during the day and rotate call for the hospital and ER. The Emergency Department is run primarily by FP doctors and they do their own admits, rounding, and orders. There are 3 ambulances for the facility. Speciality care is on a weekly, bi-monthly rotation. – not on site daily. There are Ortho, General Surgery, Opthomology, Urology, ENT, Cardiac, Pediatrist, and Oncology here. Dictation can be done by the phone system or writing. The Hospital is in excellent condition and is currently in the process of being renovated. The Xray has a 36 slice CT, digital mammo, ultrasound, MRI, nuc med, and plain film. PACS System is online with Kalispell and xrays are read immediately if necessary otherwise 30-45 minutes. 24 hour lab, RT, PT, OT. This is the only provider in the county so we cover all peds to geriatrics. There are medical students and residents rotate occasionally. 30% medicare, 9% Medicaid, 38% BCBS, 12% private pay, 11% other insurance. Physician would be a employee or contracted . Compensation includes a private non profit 501c3, Malpractice paid, Live within 20 minutes of facility, Health Insurance is paid by provider but eligible to be on our plan, Medical bills in the clinic are sent to insurance and then employee discount applied for family up to 100% of what insurance does not pay for minus supplies. BC or BE in FP or GP with EM experience. We have two D.O. and 3 MDs in our group. This is an excellent opportunity if you are nearing retirement.
