Multispecialty group recruiting to a 3 physician pulmonary practice. Medical Director/Intensivist already on board. This opportunity includes an outpatient practice which is under development. If the group finds a pulmonologist that is primarily interested in outpatient work, then the 2 other physicians would provide a majority of the Intensivist work in the ICU, while the 3rd physician would work a more IP/OP model. However, all 3 will have an OP practice to a greater or lesser degree. At this time the hope is that the next physician recruited would be interested in and both IP/OP work. The hospital has a 15 bed ICU ~ the average census for the pulmonologist is 6-7 patients daily. Very collaborative team model in place in ICU between nurses, Intensivists and Hospitalists. (who provide backup to the pulmonologist during night shift). There is also a thoracic clinic that would involve the pulmonologists in a consultative role.
