South Dakota - Growing Group with Expanding Patient Base

Growing Group with Expanding Patient Base Clinic Behavioral Health is looking to add a third psychiatrist. The group provides both outpatient and outreach services to the Sioux Falls community and surrounding region. Currently looking for either an adult or child and adolescent psychiatrist to serve the growing Health Care system. Our group currently consists of two physicians (1 adult psychiatrist and 1 child/adolescent psychiatrist), two psychologists, one certified nurse practitioner, one certified physician assistant and a master level social worker. Our clinic provided care to a wide variety of ages (child-adolescent-adult & geriatric). Clinic hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We have a high volume of patients referred mainly from the Health Care system and local physicians. Clinic practice can provide flexibility and opportunity of outreach contracts in the Sioux Falls area as well as surrounding region (South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota). Our group also provides Consultation and Liaison service to Medical Center for current child and adult inpatients requiring psychiatry consultation.

Join group of 17 psychiatrists practicing at NEW Behavioral Health Center Seeking a board eligible or board certified psychiatrist to join Avera University Psychiatry Associates, a group of 17 psychiatrists, 5 psychologists, 2 nurse practitioners, 1 physician assistant, and 3 social workers. The providers are employed by the Hospital & University Health Center and receive a generous benefit package. Duties include comprehensive treatment of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and the teaching and supervising of medical students, general psychiatry residents and child & adolescent psychiatry residents. Research experience is desirable. The Health Center, a 110-bed inpatient facility was built in 2006 and features programs to care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. The Health Center is also home to the Institute for Human Behavioral Genetics, which includes research scientists, a genetics lab dedicated to psychiatry, advanced technological capabilities for genetic research, and a CyP450 machine for liver enzyme testing. There is also a strong emphasis on telepsychiatry and interactive distance learning services. Our facility is a Magnet Hospital and a Distinguished Clinical Hospital.
