He is the senior pediatrician in the community and we are recruiting into his practice. They are seeing up to 60 patients a day. This peds position does require C-Section and Delivery call coverage. They are doing sick care, well care, urgent care, newborns, delivery, immunizations, laceration repair, and chronic health care. The clinic has a well waiting room and play area, a sick waiting room and play area, 10 exam rooms, procedure rooms, tele-radiology 24 hours, and child friendly rooms with TV’s. Dr. *** is looking to retire in 4 years and wants to build the next generation of docs to service his patients and the community. This position is an ownership position in the clinic with Dr. ***. The hospital is paying relocation up to $15,000 and a sign-on bonus of $25,000, and Dr. *** is putting up the salary plus productivity bonus. The overall package including salary is in the $170K range. The malpractice is paid; there is a benefits package that includes paid health, dental, and life insurance. We are looking for a Certified PA or NP who is interested in working in a brand new “ground floor” start up clinic to be established on the hospital campus of our Medical Center in Whiterock area, UT. This is a permanent position and not locums.
This is a NEW position because of community need and expansion and is available this summer. Duties include but not limited to: Pre-Employment Physicals, Post Accident Physicals, Drug Screens, Educating Business in Preventing Work-Related Risks, Creating Wellness Programs, Setting up Health Fairs, working with safety officers of companies, managing / marketing of the clinic and helping it get set-up, etc.
Candidate who has occupational or industrial medicine experience preferred.
Hours are normally 8-5 with occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate health fairs, educational presentations, drug screens, etc.
