Excellent opportunity to walk into an established pediatrics practice; traditional inpatient/outpatient practice including health maintenance visits and immunizations, sports physicals, hospital consults, attend high risk deliveries and c-sections; modern, well equipped office located on hospital campus; attractive work schedule and on-call arrangement. Expect to see 25-30 patients per day (75% scheduled; 25% walk-in). The position entails 10% inpatient work and 90% clinic work. Patients include 30% neonates and 70% pediatrics. The is an on-site lab (limited). The hospital nursery is a level one with a pediatric ground transport team available as well as med-flight. The hospital has approximately 250 deliveries per year with one-half of the newborns being seen by a pediatrician. The remainder are provided care by family practitioners with nursery privileges. The pediatric practice also has a phone triage system for after hours. The position is available to a board certified or eligible pediatrician who desires to enjoy a successful practice in a family-oriented community and can start working soon.
Recruitment incentive package may include income support, practice start up assistance, sign-on bonus, student loan repayment, stipend for last year residents, relocation allowance and marketing.

Due to growth the hospital needs to add an additional physician. Currently, two full-time doctors and a nurse practitioner perform the duties of caring for inpatients. We prefer med/peds, family medicine, or internal medicine with critical care background. Hospitalist experience would be ideal. Physicians will provide care to patients of all age groups in a full-service acute care facility. This position is a one-week-on and one-week-off schedule with 8am-5pm and 5pm to 8am shifts available. The hospitalist can expect 20 shifts per month. The physician must have experience as a hospitalist or have specific hospitalist training. The board certified or eligible doctor must have a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
